Agricultural Water Steward Project Coordinator

Anna Bee Szendrenyi is the Agricultural Water Steward Project Coordinator with the Pacific Institute’s Water Program. Her work focuses on collaborating with sustainable agriculture organizations, including Ag Innovations Network (AIN) and Community Alliance with Family Farmers (CAFF), on innovative ways to engage with and communicate to farmers best management practices that promote water stewardship. She works to formulate strategies for balancing the needs of agricultural producers and California water districts with beneficial uses of water. She also works on agriculture and water nexus issues more broadly.

Before joining the Pacific Institute, Ms. Szendrenyi researched climate change implications on treeline distributions in the Rocky Mountains. She holds a B.A. in Geography and B.S. in Environmental Sciences from the University of California, Berkeley.
