Staff and Board: Mai-Lan Ha
Mai-Lan Ha is a Research Associate for the Pacific Institute’s Globalization program focusing on its international standards and corporate water stewardship programs. She brings her international development and commerce experience having worked at the community, national, and regional levels in Southeast Asia.
Prior to joining the Pacific Institute, Ms. Ha spent two years working with local and regional NGOs out of Bangkok, Thailand. During this time she focused on energy, investment, and environmental issues facing the six Mekong countries. She also spent time working with investment and trade associations in the United States and human rights organizations in Southeast Asia.
Ms. Ha holds a Masters of International Affairs degree from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs focusing on governance and non-state actors in development and a B.A. in History from the University of California, Los Angeles.
